Mit dieser knappen Billion US-Dollar wird noch nicht einmal das sprichwörtliche Ende der Fahnenstange erreicht sein: Am 5. Januar findet im US-Bundesstaat Georgia eine Senats-Stichwahl statt. Gewinnen hier die Demokraten ebenfalls, hätten sie auch den Senat in der Tasche [heute ist der Tag der Redewendungen!] – und damit beide Kongress-Kammern.
Nun darf man mit Fug und Recht behaupten, dass Joe Biden nicht zögern wird, weitere Stimulus-Pakete auf den Weg zu bringen.
