A new international conference for the precious metals industry, ZukunftsForum Edelmetalle (Precious Metals FutureForum), will launch on March 23 in Frankfurt, Germany. The event aims to become an annual platform for industry professionals, expert exchange, and market trends.

From March 23 to 25, 2025, the inaugural ZukunftsForum Edelmetalle (Precious Metals FutureForum) will take place in Frankfurt, Germany. Designed to bring together industry professionals from around the world, the forum’s main goal is to foster international dialogue, enhance knowledge and reputation of gold, silver, and platinum group metals, and support Germany’s financial and economic hub.
Target Audience and Exhibition
AreaThe forum targets institutional investors, family offices, private banks, asset managers, fund managers, precious metals traders, recycling companies, and central banks, particularly from the DACH region (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland). Retail investors are not the event’s focus. An accompanying exhibition area with up to 17 booths will allow companies to showcase their products and services.
Event ConceptThe conference is divided into a “Gold Day” and a “White Metals Day,” focusing on silver and platinum metals. In addition to lectures on political, economic, and market-specific topics, the event will offer parallel sessions on specialized subjects such as regulation, taxation, and ESG.
Location and Networking Opportunities
The conference will be held at the Kap Europa convention center in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. As an annual B2B event, it will offer networking opportunities at a cocktail reception at the Frankfurt Skybar the evening before and a conference dinner at the renowned Senckenberg Museum. The program will also include a tour of the Fortuna Mine in Solms, Germany, offering international participants insight into the region’s mining industry.

The forum will feature numerous renowned industry representatives as speakers and guest lecturers, including Ruth Crowell, CEO of the London Bullion Market Association (LBMA); John Reade, Senior Market Strategist at the World Gold Council; Ronald Stöferle of Incrementum AG, as well as various German and international precious metals experts from the banking and processing sectors.

Its Managing Director and ZFE organizer, Wolfgang Wrzesniok-Roßbach, is one of the leading precious metals experts in the German-speaking region, with over 30 years of professional experience. He has held senior positions in numerous industry institutions, including precious metals trading at Dresdner Bank, business development, sales, and marketing at precious metals processor Heraeus, and as spokesperson for the management of Degussa Goldhandel GmbH. Since 2019, he has been Managing Partner of Fragold GmbH, a consulting firm specializing in precious metals.
